History

Founded in 1988 by Bob and Ann Anderson, the original "New Shoe Store" was located just down the road from our current Tunkhannock location, on Route 29.  Over the years, our product mix has evolved and changed alongside of the communities we have grown to serve.  However, our commitment to a family atmosphere and our focus on quality service have both remained steady throughout.  Now celebrating over 30 years in business (and into the 2nd generation), our family and staff promise to continue to earn your trust and business by linking past and present, and by keeping traditions of quality alive.

Our tradition of service begins with our staff and management, all of whom are here to help guide you during your product selection process.  From foot measuring services, to product recommendations, we are here to assist in every aspect of your footwear purchase.  Much like a hardware store operates, our goal is to diagnose needs, and match you with the correct "tool" for the job.  Our wide selection of products and brands are sure to offer plenty of solutions.
